Apparently, Andy Fink of the Blumstein team moonlights as a ham for the camera. He is part of a recent campaign for Bushmills Irish Whiskey that is being promoted heavily in Brooklyn and the Lower East Side. The billboards (both printed and hand painted) feature successful New York City artists and entrepreneurs palling around with their friends and a glass of Bushmills. As put on Bushmills Facebook Page:
Bushmills. Much more than Irish Whiskey. It’s Ireland’s oldest working distillery. It’s the seal that marks true friendship.
As a tribute to camaraderie, Bushmills is teaming up with 5 groups of successful New York City artists and entrepreneurs and their friends. This collection of cultural influencers consists of the band Chromeo, photographer Kai Regan, DJ A-Trak, Nick Catchdubs, and Dust La Rock of Fool’s Gold, Jonathan Galkin and Justin Miller of DFA Records, and Chris Isenberg, founder of No Mas. Bushmills is documenting the tight bond that keeps these guys and their friends together, whether it’s out of loyalty, a sense of shared-identity, or a begrudging acknowledgment that they kind of need each other.
You can see Andy towards the end of this video and blown up larger than life around town with his old pal Kai Regan.
