For those who need 1.8 sq ft....

One of the most fascinating aspects of real estate is that you get a peek at the inside of someone’s home and get a sense of how people live.  While there may be some fun color to individual glances, the overarching themes that come up help paint a broader picture of the hidden life of human beings.

Of course, there are always singular exceptions of note that cast a bright and brazen swath of paint.  To wit, this video shows what some people do to live where they want for a price they can afford.  In this case, this woman lives in 90 square feet of space, and pays only $700 a month for rent.  In an area where the average rent is $3,600, this almost seems sane.

I once tried to sleep on the top of my family’s cross-country roadtrip luggage in the back of a station wagon during a night in which a typhoon style storm trashed our tent.  Not being able to sit up nearly drove me crazy in less than 2 hours.  But for those who can do it day in and day out, maybe this is for you?
