While plenty of people bemoan the lack of New Development inventory in Manhattan these days (and besmirch plenty of the shoddy ones thrown up during the peak times), Corcoran Sunshine continues to do well in selling new buildings to developers.  In 2011, Corcoran Sunshine (Corcoran’s new dev marketing arm) raked in over $1B in sales for their developers.  Read about it here:  $1B in Sales for Corcoran Sunshine

Highlight?  The Rushmore  (an Extell development) alone had $160M in signed contracts in 2011.  See available listings here.

Extell  is currently using 2 Corcoran Sunshine agents they poached for  One57, the soon to be tallest residential building in the country.  Recently, one of the two penthouses sold for $84m.  The other is now on the market for $110M.  Woah.

The Blumstein Team recently worked with Corcoran Sunshine and Alfa Development on their LEED certified new development Village Green (311 E 11th) in the East Village.  It closed on all but 2 units within 6 months of being able to close.
